Ambassador of Sweden to Korea

Ambassador Karl-Olof Andersson officially began his tenure as the Swedish Ambassador to South Korea in the fall of 2024. Drawing on his extensive diplomatic experience, he is actively working to strengthen practical cooperation between Korea and Sweden and to advance bilateral relations in a forward-looking manner.

In particular, he is promoting communication and collaboration on multiple levels to enable close cooperation between the two countries in a wide range of areas, including economic and technological cooperation, innovation, education and talent exchange, cultural exchange, and sustainability. Through these efforts, he aims to further concretize the shared values and common vision of both nations.
