Jyri Järviaho
Ambassador of Finland to Korea
Ambassador Jyri Järviaho officially assumed his post as the Finnish Ambassador to South Korea on September 1, 2024.
Within the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, he has held numerous senior positions, focusing on policy coordination, strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations, and expanding international cooperation. He has represented Finland in key international arenas, including Brussels, Geneva, and Washington.
As the Finnish Ambassador to Korea, he is actively working to expand cooperation between the two countries in areas such as economic collaboration, science and technology innovation, education, cultural exchange, and sustainability. Ambassador Järviaho continues to foster close communication and cooperation to ensure that Finland and Korea can grow together through a forward-looking partnership.
